David C. Corso joined American Management Services in 1999 and serves our clients as a Group Manager. David’s client focus is primarily contractors and manufacturers. He has also worked extensively with distributors and retailers.
David began his career in the consulting practice of Arthur Andersen & Co. where he earned his designation as a CPA. Prior to joining American Management, Mr. Corso also served in senior finance and operations positions with Allegheny International, Xerox and GE Capital. He also gained significant experience in M&A as a principal in an investment banking firm.
He is a graduate of Penn State and lives in the Charleston, SC area with his wife Susan. He has five children and seven grandchildren.

Herb has over 25 years-experience as Controller, CFO, VP Finance and Treasurer in public and privately held companies in manufacturing, distribution, construction and service industries. Herb is a graduate of Bentley College with a BS degree in Accounting.
For over 20 years Herb has led the clients of American Management Services through successful business turnarounds, restructuring, strategic planning initiatives and the development of profit focused programs targeted at achieving top tier results in both financial and operational performance in their respective industries.

Robert Lamp is a Group Manager for American Management Services, Inc. Bob is responsible for the development and execution of consulting programs with the express purpose of helping clients transform their businesses to achieve operational and organizational excellence, growth, and pre-determined profit. Bob joined the company in 2012 as a senior consultant, and has extensive senior level financial, operations, and business development experience in the Inc. 100, Fortune 500, and small business environments.

Michael joined American Management Services in 2013 after an extensive career in Accounting/Finance, serving in various manufacturing, retail and service related organizations. Michael has both an Undergraduate degree and Master’s degree in Accountancy, both from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL, and is a Certified Public Accountant. Additionally, Michael served seven years in the United States Navy, working with the Seabees, the Navy’s combat engineer wing. Michael’s Navy experience gave him inside knowledge of construction management, planning and estimating, and operations.
Michael is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), and applies his working knowledge and experience to each of his consulting clients, working aggressively to not only build profits and cash flows, but passing along the leadership skills necessary to thrive in today’s environment.
