Remember when mom would tell you to “eat your vegetables” at dinner? The same logic applies to managing your business.
“Eating your vegetables first” means that you must focus on your least favorable tasks first to remain productive throughout the day. Regardless of what you define as the “vegetables” on your plate, I challenge you to identify these tasks that normally get pushed to the side, and make them the main course of your morning routine.
In my experience, both personally and professionally, attacking your least pleasant tasks first will increase productivity, raise your self-esteem, and make you a more effective leader.
